The Jose L. Piedra Conservas cigar has a slightly rustic look, dressed in a slightly ribbed wrapper. The construction is of good quality and the compactness regular. When raw, the vitola exudes spicy notes of pepper and toast. The ignition is easy, the draw perfect. The tasting takes place with hints of roasted coffee, toasted bread and precious wood. The combustion produces an ash that lacks a little compactness, but an aromatic palette where balsamic notes dominate makes this cigar tasty and pleasant.
